1.Why the “ish”?
This is a FUUNNNN Walk/ RunISH… Because this is really about being a voice for the voiceless and telling their story, not getting your qualifying time for the Boston Marathon. This is about gathering up all those dollar bills and sending them off to make a difference!
2. Do I have to train and be in good shape?
You don’t have to be “in great shape,” you just have to be all heart. Whether you run like Usain Bolt and inspire us all or just run your mouth more than anything else, we want you to know this race is for you!
Walk, run, or ish… whatever way, we want you to get behind this event and share it with your friends (because sharing is caring) and share the story of village transformation with everyone you know. Let’s blow the doors off this sucker.
Maybe you will decided to sponsor our local Love Run or to start a Love Run in another town or city next year.
The more the merrier!
3. What can I wear?
There are NO FASHION POLICE! Get creative. Have fun. Be a little sassy but keep it classy. Remember this is a family event. That being said, feel free to get crazy and wear anything that would make your mother proud. The Love Run team want to see someone run in a a giant hamster ball covered in pink hearts! Hey, we can all dream, right? 😉
The Love Run is a come-as-you-are event. You’re not timed on the run, many racers walk.
4. Can I bring a stroller?
Absolutely! Running with family can make for the best fun ever (and some tired kids!)
The goal of The Love Run is RAISING MONEY TO CHANGE LIVES through Total Village Transformation and Everyday Mission.
